News / Air Transat removes June 2026 Toronto-Accra launch from its schedule: report
The change was reported by Aeroroutes

Air Transat has reportedly removed its Toronto-Accra service launch from its schedule.
The change was reported by Aeroroutes, which tracks worldwide airline schedule and network changes.
Air Transat first announced its new Accra flights back in November 2025. The flights were set to begin this summer, operating twice weekly from June 17 through Oct. 22.
The addition of Accra aimed to continue Air Transat’s growth across the African continent. Earlier additions include services to Dakar and Agadir, along with existing year-round operation to Marrakech.
Air Transat shared this feedback: “The new route between Toronto and Accra, initially planned for summer 2026, has been postponed. This decision stems from operational and commercial constraints that are leading us to reassess the launch schedule for this route, in order to ensure we can offer a service that meets our standards and our customers’ expectations. We are actively continuing our efforts to eventually include Accra in our program when conditions are optimal.”
