News / Anguilla Tourist Board names Jesson & Company Communications as Canadian PR and Marketing partner
Anguilla Tourist Board appoints Jesson & Company Communications as its Canadian PR, sales and marketing agency, effective July 1, 2026, as Canadian visitor arrivals surge.

The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) has named Jesson & Company Communications Inc. as its Public Relations, Sales & Marketing Agency of Record for Canada, effective July 1, 2026. Canada is Anguilla's second-largest source market, and the new partnership will focus on growing destination awareness, deepening travel trade relationships and expanding media coverage across the country.
Jesson & Company will build on Anguilla's existing brand recognition through strategic storytelling, media outreach, sales programs, trade engagement and marketing campaigns tailored to the Canadian market.
A Partnership Built on Momentum
"We are so pleased to be working with Jesson & Company Communications again as Anguilla approaches its next winter travel season riding a wave of positive momentum and perception," said the Honourable Cardigan Connor, Minister of Health, Tourism and Sports. He added that few agencies match their sector expertise, and that their knowledge of and enthusiasm for the destination will help unlock new opportunities among Canadian travelers seeking a refined Caribbean getaway.
The agreement supports Anguilla's broader strategy to grow its footprint in Canada. Jesson & Company will lead media relations, travel trade outreach, content creation and marketing initiatives, collaborating directly with journalists, influencers, travel advisors and industry partners to raise Anguilla's profile nationwide.
Anguilla is a premier Caribbean destination in the Leeward Islands, known for its 33 beaches, celebrated dining scene, and top-tier hotels, resorts and villas.
Strong Tourism Growth Fuels the Timing
The appointment arrives on the heels of record-setting tourism numbers. Anguilla welcomed 90,017 total visitor arrivals in the first quarter of 2026 — its strongest Q1 performance in 34 years. Canadian stayover arrivals climbed 40% year over year, rising from 2,138 in Q1 2025 to 2,993 in Q1 2026.
Air access is also expanding: new weekly Saturday service from Toronto Pearson International Airport, connecting via Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, is set to launch on December 19, 2026.
Authenticity Driving Canadian Travel Demand
"Canadians are increasingly looking for new horizons in both the traditional winter travel season and the offseason, and what they crave more than anything when selecting a destination is authenticity," said Barbara Jesson, CEO and Founder of Jesson & Company Communications Inc. "Anguilla is rich in both experience and culture, and we look forward to sharing more compelling stories from the destination through our Public Relations and Marketing efforts."
The partnership underscores ATB's long-term commitment to strengthening consumer awareness, travel trade relationships and media visibility in Canada, further cementing Anguilla's status as one of the Caribbean's premier luxury destinations.
"In Anguilla, we work closely with our stakeholders and partners on-island to deliver a world-class visitor experience," said Jameel Rochester, Director of Tourism at the Anguilla Tourist Board. "With this Canadian partnership, we are strengthening our connection with a market where Anguilla's luxury, authenticity and warm hospitality strongly resonate."
