News / Champagne popping Brunch: Caribbean Club, Grand Cayman
Epicurean excellence at Luca
Cayman’s listing of over 200 restaurants has made this aspirational island one of the top culinary destinations in the world.
With so many choices along seven-mile beach, and modern downtown Camana Bay, many would argue that Luca Restaurant- located in the heart of Caribbean Club- is one of the top epicurean offerings on the island.
Caribbean Club is best described as a luxury boutique hotel with its heart and soul being Luca. With its Wine Spectator Award cellar, and cleverly crafted cocktails, LUCA has a definite nightly vibe- all surrounded by the 33 spacious suites and villas of Caribbean Club.
The north wall of the restaurant contains 5,500 bottles located in a beautiful glass encased cellar, earning multiple “Best of Award: Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine over the years. The Italian-made cellars are sleek architectural displays of stainless steel and palissandro wood, all enclosed in floor-to-ceiling glass with sliding ladders. Stunning. World class.
By far, my choice.
For your more discerning clients, Caribbean Club provides a top shelf accommodation and culinary experience. Luca is not a typical resort restaurant, but rather an independent, top tier dining room, which operates within the Caribbean Club property.
Your clients can sample both indoor and al fresco experiences poolside, or order room service from Luca and dine on the expansive patios each Caribbean Club suite offers.
Any culinary story about Caribbean Club must mention the most popular Sunday social event on the island: Sunday brunch, with its magnificent buffet spilling into the lobby, and a symphony of champagne corks popping into the early afternoon. Not to be missed.
