News / Private Chef: an enhanced client experience. Thoughts about Caribbean Club, Grand Cayman
Caribbean Club has beautiful, spacious kitchens- featuring both indoor and outdoor dining
Those of you that have been following Grand Cayman’s Caribbean Club these past few years have certainly gotten a taste of living Cayman style at this luxury boutique residence hotel on Seven Mile Beach. Cayman has long been known for its culinary offerings and many would easily argue that Luca Restaurant- located in the heart of Caribbean Club- is one of the top epicurean offerings on the island.
By far, my choice.
In a recent discussion with agents, a travel professional posed a client question to General Manager Danielle Wolf from the resort. Danielle was asked if Caribbean Club has access to private chefs for their more discerning travellers. The answer was a definite yes- as the 2700 square foot suites at Caribbean Club have beautiful, spacious kitchens, with both indoor and outdoor dining tables.
Danielle’s concierge team has ongoing relationships with many private chefs on island and can easily set up a one-night special evening- or a full-time commitment for a guest’s entire stay.
Having answered the question, Danielle paused for a moment and offered another option used by many guests at Caribbean Club- order from Luca Restaurant, and have excellent meals selected from their deep menu delivered to your suite, or for outdoor dining- your own private terrace. Luca is not a typical resort restaurant, but rather an independent, top tier dining room which operates within the Caribbean Club property. It has won numerous Wine Spectator awards- and its culinary offerings are fresh, varied and unique.
So definitely yes- if your client wanted a private chef at Caribbean Club it can easily be arranged by Danielle and her team. But think of the romance and vibe of having your full -size dining table set on the terrace of your private suite, watching and listening to the bustle of satisfied diners at Luca’s outdoor terrace to your right, and the sun setting on the beautiful Caribbean Sea to your left. The doorbell rings, and in comes a fantastic collection of plates from Luca and a very special bottle of wine- or two.
That’s a very special evening, and a very special experience. Candles glowing and good wine flowing.
