News / The Caribbean Club Experience - The Best of Grand Cayman
An exclusive enclave of 36 villas and suites
We all know the beauty of Seven Mile Beach in the Cayman Islands- impossibly blue water and white powdery sand literally for miles. Grand Cayman- with over 200 restaurants- is well know for its culinary excellence and epicurean offerings. Barefoot elegance and cosmopolitan are just a few of the many descriptions well seasoned travellers use to describe this trio of islands one hour south of Miami.
Right in the heart of Grand Cayman is one of the most unique and enjoyable properties in the Caribbean. It’s a boutique residence hotel named Caribbean Club- an exclusive enclave of 36 villas and suites offering a vacation experience for those who are accustomed to the best.
I remember my first time staying at Caribbean Club. When I opened the door to my suite I was totally taken by the sheer size of the space. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. An outstanding gourmet kitchen, living room and dining room- all with beautiful views of the vast beach and incredibly blue water. Then I stepped out onto the patio which also impressed- an outdoor dining table, lounge chairs and regular chairs and there was still room to move around.
Caribbean Club calls itself a boutique residence hotel and with only 36 villas and suites it really does have that boutique sense to it. Danielle Wolfe is the general manager here and she makes everyone feel well taken care of and very much part of the family. The short of it is that I love this place.
A few steps from the pool and just beyond the beach is the outdoor dining space that belongs to a restaurant named Luca. This is a chic interior/exterior space that serves contemporary Italian fare and has the most amazing wine cellar I have seen in years. To have a beautiful day on the beach, followed by a late afternoon cocktail on my patio- and then head over to Luca for dinner is the winning trifecta for this traveller.
