You asked and Cuba delivered! Seven NEW luxury resorts are coming

The trend is clear: more visitors are flocking to Cuba, making it the second most travelled to destination in the Caribbean. In 2016 Cuba welcomed more than 4 million tourists, an increase of nearly 14.5% compared to 2015. And that’s after Cuba received 3.5 million visitors in 2015, which was up 17.4% from 2014.

To capitalize on and continue the growth Cuba is getting seven new luxury properties in 2017, generating some 3,673 luxury rooms to sell.

The properties slated for 2017 openings are:

• Angsana Cayo Santa Maria – 252 rooms in Cayo Las Brujas-Cayo Santa Maria
• Catalonia Cayo Guillermo – 500 rooms in Catalonia Cayo Guillermo
• Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana - 246 rooms in Havana
• Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo – 550 rooms in Cayo Guillermo
• Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero – 827 rooms in Varadero
• Iberostar Holguin – 638 rooms in Holguin
• Sercotel Experience Cayo Santa Maria – 660 rooms in Cayo Las Brujas-Cayo Santa Maria
