G Adventures
The new trips will begin departing in April 2026

G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions are broadening their collection of small-group tours with 14 new itineraries for 2026, bringing the total to 106 trips across 59 destinations.

Twelve of the new offerings include journeys to South Korea, China and Central Asia’s Stans, as well as expanded options in Greece, the Balkans and Mexico. For the first time, National Geographic Family Journeys with G Adventures will also take families to Egypt and Portugal.

The new trips will begin departing in April 2026 and span a range of durations, from shorter eight-day tours to longer 23-day adventures. Each journey is designed to connect travellers more deeply with local communities while reflecting National Geographic’s legacy of science, exploration, education and storytelling. Hands-on experiences are central to the itineraries, aligning with G Adventures’ community tourism model.

Highlights include visiting the submerged forests of Kazakhstan’s Kaindy Lake, sharing meals with nomads in Kyrgyzstan and breadmakers in Tajik villages, meeting the Haenyeo women divers of South Korea’s Jeju Island, hiking in China’s Zhangjiajie National Park, bamboo rafting in Yangshuo, and taking part in Mexico’s Día de Muertos festivities with glowing altars, parades and candlelit cemeteries.
