The St. Kitts “virtual booth” was solidly booked for the 4-hour length of each show

The St. Kitts team actively participated in last weeks two- day ACV virtual trade shows with both travel agents and consumers. The St. Kitts “virtual booth” was solidly booked for the four-hour length of each show leaving team members exhausted but exhilarated by the interest and enthusiasm for the destination.

St. Kitts has been on a roll over the past few years, with Air Canada adding a second flight in 2019 based on a steady increase in demand. The increase in overall interest by travel agents and consumers has been building over the past three years as the destinations new marketing strategy has created significant traction.

Looking ahead to this winter St. Kitts has had a very strong safety record with respect to C-19- with no recorded cases in months. 52% of Canadians have a willingness to travel if safety is perceived, and the uptick in interest at the ACV trade shows seemed to be focussed on the islands strong record in this area. In addition, the island offers a sprawling and spacious vacation experience which is perceived as a major area of interest for winter travellers heading into 2021. Despite having no cases in months, The St. Kitts border remains closed until mis October- further reflecting the commitment to safety within St. Kitts.

Coming up next for the team is the Leisure and Travel show in mid September- also a virtual format with one day dedicated to agents and the other to consumers. If you missed the St. Kitts team at the ACV shows be sure to say hello in the chat room at the Leisure and Travel Show as well as download digital materials and great destination videos!
