Airlines have activated their flexible rebooking policies as winter snow storm conditions impact flights and airport operations today in southern Ontario and parts of Quebec.
At Pearson Airport, crews are plowing runways and other critical areas to keep flights moving as normally as possible, however there are currently widespread arrival and departure delays at YYZ. A check on arriving and departing flight status boards for YUL and YOW show fewer delays at those airports.
Air Canada has posted alerts for flights to and from Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Ottawa today, Jan. 15, due to the storm (as well as Regina and Saskatoon for strong wind conditions). Passengers on impacted flights can make changes to their bookings without penalty, space permitting. More details from Air Canada can be found here.
