The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development and Culture is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Annette Mark as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA). Ms. Mark who took up duties on August 12, 2024, will lead the team of the SVGTA Authority to fulfill its primary mandate of destination marketing.

The new CEO says her immediate priorities include addressing the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl to parts of the Grenadines. She will focus on restoring affected accommodations, attracting more yacht enthusiasts and improving the overall experience of visitors to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Ms. Mark an Attorney at Law is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in project management planning, and investment promotion. Prior to her appointment as CEO of the SVGTA, she served as a Consultant at Sandals St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She previously served as the Executive Director of Invest SVG which is the agency charged with attracting foreign direct investment to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Ms. Mark’s professional experience also includes stints in Antigua and Barbuda as the Chief Immigration Officer and the Legal Counsel in the Office of Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy. She is an active Rotarian who served as President of the Rotary Club of St Vincent from June 2020 to July 2021.
