The bargaining committee for the Air Canada Component of CUPE, representing more than 10,000 flight attendants at Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge, has issued an update to its members now that the conciliation process with the assistance of federally appointed mediators has come to a close.

According to the update, there is no tentative agreement yet and “key issues remain unresolved.” Those issues include pay, unpaid work, per diems, pension, work rules and prone rest.

As the next step, the strike vote starts next week, and runs from July 28 through August 5.

This is the latest update in the bargaining process, after filing for conciliation in mid-May.
