Swoop is just days away from celebrating its third anniversary and has marked the occasion by announcing three new U.S. destinations this winter.   

The airline, which turns three on June 20, will be launching nonstop flights to San Diego (SAN), St. Pete-Clearwater (PIE) and Orlando Sanford (SFB)   

Direct flights from Edmonton to San Diego begin October 31, and from Toronto and Hamilton to St. Pete-Clearwater on November 5 and November 9, respectively. Nonstop service to Orlando Sanford International Airport will kick off from Toronto on October 9, from Hamilton on November 1 and from Edmonton on November 5.

Since launching in June 2018, Swoop has served three million travellers. After being temporarily grounded due the COVID-19 pandemic, the ultra-low-cost carrier resumed operations at Toronto Pearson in October 2020 with both domestic and international routes. This summer, it also announced its return to Winnipeg with service to Hamilton, Abbotsford and Kelowna.
