Extended Flexibility Offered:
Passengers who have booked a package without a flexibility program before December 16, 2021, for departure between December 21, 2021, and February 9, 2022, may change their travel dates at no charge, up to 5 days before departure. Only the fare difference, if any, will apply. Passengers may also choose to cancel up to 5 days before departure at no charge and obtain a travel credit (1) valid for 12 months. In addition, customers who booked under the Here Comes The Sun promotion who are scheduled to depart on these days (December 21, 2021 – February 9, 2022), will benefit from this additional flexibility.
Transat web form has been updated and allows you to cancel a file using this new flexibility.
For group files, the flexibility described above applies, travel agents are asked to contact the group department for assistance: transatgroups@transat.com.
Ancillary product such as seat selection and option plus will also be refunded in the form of a travel credit, this is done automatically upon cancellation of the file but may take additional days to process.
Reservations for land-only bookings are not eligible for this flexibility.
(1) Passengers will receive a travel credit in the value of the amount paid on file at the time of cancellation. Travel credits will be issued in the name of each passenger on file and will be recorded with your travel agency and can be exchanged for any Transat product. The credit is valid for travel up to 12 months starting from the original return date.

Additional flexibility announced on December 16:
Per current Eco fare conditions, passengers booked between December 1 and 15, 2021, may change their travel dates at no charge up to 24 hours prior to departure. Only the fare difference, if any, will apply. These passengers may now choose to cancel their travel at no charge, regardless of the fare option, up to 24 hours prior to departure and receive a travel credit (1) valid for 12 months.
Transat web form has been updated and allows you to cancel a file using this flexibility (GDS files cannot be cancelled using the form).
