Program Details

The Fam Insider Program: Rules and Regulations for The Fam Insider Program

• The annual cost of the program is $500 USD, based on the calendar year.
• Advisors who subscribe in October 2024 will enjoy benefits until December 31, 2025.
• Once payment is made, there will be no reimbursements for the program fee.
• The program is designed for individual advisors, not per agency. Each advisor must enroll separately.
• Benefits cannot be transferred or shared with other advisors.
• If any benefits are not utilized, there will be no credit issued for unused benefits. Unused credits cannot be applied to the following year.

Full Program Benefits: Advisors will receive the following benefits upon enrollment:

• Credits: Three (3) credits, each worth $100 off your next Fam, valid for one (1) year.
• Discounts: A 10% discount on additional FamTrips after the fourth one.
• Training Access: Access to exclusive on-demand training sessions covering resorts, best practices, and destinations.
• Last-Minute Deals: Discounts of up to 50% on last-minute FamTrips.

• Advisors are expected to comply with all rules and regulations of “The Fam Insider.” Violations may result in revocation of membership and access to benefits.

FamTrip Vouchers- 3 Voucher will be given per year for $100 off your next Fam, valid for 1 year: Rules and Regulations for FamTrip Vouchers

• Each agent will receive three (3) vouchers valued at $100 each.
• Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issuance.
• Vouchers can be redeemed exclusively at Mexico or Caribbean FamTrips.
• Only one (1) voucher may be used per FamTrip.
• Agent must notify that will use a voucher at the moment of registering to the FamTrip.
• Not combinable with any other promotion or added values.
• Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be shared or given to another agent.
• Voucher expiration is based on travel window and must be used before the end of the calendar year.
• Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of credit.
• Once a voucher is used, it is non-reimbursable.
• For the fourth FamTrip and beyond, a 10% discount will be applied if no vouchers remain, no additional promotions or added value can be combined with this discount, this promotion does not apply for Last Minute Deals or Discounted Fams.
• Any unused vouchers will expire after one year from the date of issuance.
• Advisors are expected to comply with all rules and regulations regarding voucher usage. Any violations may result in disqualification from future promotions.

Last Minute Deals - Up to 50% discount on last minute Fams! Last Minute Deals Details

• Last-minute deals are defined as FamTrips offering discounts of up to 50% off the regular price, this FamTrips will be announced exclusive on the Fam Inside Facebook group, at least 4 weeks before the Fam starts.
• Vouchers cannot be redeemed for last-minute deals or any other exiting added value or promotion.
• Last-minute deals will be exclusively promoted in “The Fam Insider” Facebook group.
• Last-minute deals must be paid in full at the time of booking.
• All last-minute deals are non-reimbursable, and no future credit will be issued for these bookings.
• Agents are not permitted to cancel an existing FamTrip to rebook a last-minute deal.
• Only a limited number of spots will be available for last-minute deals. The exact number of spots will be announced at least two (2) weeks prior to the start date of the FamTrip.
• Advisors must book last-minute deals within the specified timeline, as spots are limited and subject to availability.
• Advisors must comply with all rules and regulations regarding last-minute deals. Any violations may lead to disqualification from future promotions.

Fam Credits: Rules and Regulations for Fam Credits

• When a regular travel advisor cancels a FamTrip, the deposit is non-reimbursable and cannot be applied towards future FamTrips.
• Advisors who are part of “The Fam Insider” may cancel a FamTrip at least 31 days before the trip starts and will receive a full credit for the total deposit amount.
• This credit must be used within 12 months from the date of cancellation. If the credit is not used within this time frame, it will be forfeited.
• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be used or shared with another advisor.
• If an advisor cancels a FamTrip after the 31-day cancellation period, there will be no reimbursement or credit issued.
• Credits can be applied to FamTrips of equal or greater value. If the FamTrip cost exceeds the credit amount, the advisor must pay the difference.
• If the credit amount exceeds the cost of the FamTrip, the remaining balance can be used toward a second FamTrip until the credits are fully utilized.
• No monetary reimbursement will be provided for credits that are not used, regardless of the circumstances.
• Advisors are expected to adhere to all rules and regulations regarding Fam credits. Any violations may result in the loss of credit privileges.

The Fam Insider Facebook Page: Rules and Regulations for The Fam Insider Facebook Page

• Access to the exclusive Facebook page is limited to agents who have paid the annual enrollment fee of $500 USD for “The Fam Insider” program.
• Agents will be automatically added to the Facebook page by the program administrator upon enrollment in the program.
• The Facebook page will feature exclusive FamTrips for 48 hours before they are publicly announced for Mexico and Caribbean FamTrips.
• Last-minute deals will be promoted on the Facebook page at least 30 days prior to the FamTrip taking place.
• If an advisor’s membership expires and is not renewed, they will be unsubscribed from the Facebook page immediately.
• The Facebook page will showcase exclusive training sessions, broadcasts, and other content that is only accessible to members of “The Fam Insider.”
• Access to the Facebook page and its content is strictly for travel advisors and cannot be shared or transferred to other individuals.
• Members are expected to adhere to all rules and guidelines governing the Facebook page. Any violations may result in revocation of access.

Please Read- FAM Etiquette and Guidelines

• Please come prepared with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Please be willing to collaborate and work together with fellow travel agents on your FAM trip.
• Do not be late to scheduled events. When one person is late it holds up events for the entire FAM trip and causes issues for our vendors and operations departments.
• You will be required to attend all scheduled events unless prior permission has been granted.
• Come prepared and dress appropriately and professionally. Dress codes will be sent for each FAM.
• Do not discuss with other guests what you paid for your stay.
• Do not solicit guests to book travel with you.
• Please do not stray from our group when on-site inspections. Ample time will be given for photographs and questions.
• Be courteous while on site inspections. Do not sit on beds or chairs, deposit anything into garbage cans or use any bathrooms while inspecting a property.
• Please be respectful and courteous at all times to our hosts and resort staff.
• Tipping – Tips are not included and are highly suggested.
• Do not show up to any scheduled events intoxicated, you will be sent home at your own expense and barred from attending any further Mexico FamTrip fams or events.
