Travel & Selling Tips / The Ultimate Golfing Gamble: #15 at Four Seasons Nevis
15th golf hole at Four Seasons in Nevis is truly a bucket list golf hole
As golf holes go, the 15th at Four Seasons in Nevis is truly a bucket list golf hole.
Described by a well-known golf writer as a “bobsled run”, the 663 yard, 15th hole at The Four Seasons Nevis is the longest par 5 in the Caribbean. For seasoned travellers to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, many already know the inspirational layout of the Robert Trent Jones II designed Four Seasons course. It’s a fun, but challenging track which winds its way up a volcanic mountain on the front nine, and then curves its way down to the crystal blue Caribbean Sea on the back nine.
Interestingly, its not so much the yardage that intimidates golfers as they approach the 15th tee - but rather the casino like gamble designed into its “bobsled run” layout. The championship tee box tempts you to hit the best drive of your life over a treed mountain-side canyon, rewarding those that clear this chasm with an opportunity for eagle. The regular tees take you around the canyon to a much safer journey off the tee box, but this route likely has you hoping for a par at best.
Do you have clients that golf? Ask them what they would do on #15 at the resort course at Four Seasons Nevis as they stand bravely on the 15th tee box.
Go for it? Or play it safe?
