Air Transat has resumed operations between Canada and Portugal

Air Transat has resumed operations between Canada and Portugal, with roundtrip flights launching last week following months of temporary suspension due to COVID-19.

Two roundtrip flights departed last week from Montreal to Lisbon (TS318 and TS319) and Toronto to Porto (TS744 and TS745).

Air Transat now offers two direct flights per week from Montreal to Lisbon and from Toronto to Porto. Direct flights from Toronto to Faro are set to begin on January 18.

The news comes on the heels of Air Transat’s resumption of flights to the U.K. on September 15 with a flight from Toronto to London Gatwick. The airline also recently announced that it will be resuming operations from Toronto to Manchester, England earlier than originally planned, on October 19, due to passenger demand.

This winter, Air Transat will by flying to nearly 50 destinations in the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, the United States and Europe.
