Flair Airlines
While winter flexed its might, Flair managed the most completed scheduled flights in February

Despite relentless winter storms and operational disruptions, Flair Airlines delivered Canada’s highest flight completion factor in February at 94.5%, ensuring safe, reliable travel for 292,178 passengers.

WestJet completed 94.3% of flights, Porter Airlines 92.8%, and Air Canada trailed at 90.8%. Snowstorms affected On-Time Performance industry-wide, with Flair flights arriving on time 59.1% of the time—closely aligned with Air Canada at 60.9%, WestJet at 59.3%, and Porter Airlines at 56.4%. Flair delivered on its On-Time Guarantee (OTG), with 83.5% of flights arriving within 60 minutes of their scheduled arrival.

February’s challenges included heavy snowstorms in Eastern Canada and an incident at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Flair maintained an 87.5% load factor in February, a 1.5% increase over January. As Canada’s greenest airline and the only carrier voluntarily disclosing carbon emissions, Flair led the industry with 82.28g CO2 per RPM—more than 4 grams lower per revenue passenger mile than the previous month, despite increased passenger loads.

As 2025 progresses, Flair Airlines remains dedicated to delivering reliable, affordable, and sustainable air travel. With an expanded schedule on the horizon, Canada’s accessible airline continues to help travellers save more, explore more, and do more with less.
