Hola Sun announces they will be re-protecting all confirmed existing passengers who are scheduled to depart in June aboard other airlines, with the announcement of Cubana de Aviacion cancelling their previously scheduled flights for June.The tour operator is currently in the process of finalizing the new flight itineraries and will notify the passengers as soon as possible with the changes.
Moving forward, Hola Sun is in the process of negotiating with other airlines to add more air seats for the summer flying season.
Hola Sun has released a statement regarding Cubana de Aviacion’s delays servicing Toronto Pearson Airport from May 17 - 20, due to operational reasons.
Passengers departing from Toronto who were affected by flight delays exceeding 24 hours were given the option to cancel their trip with a full refund. Passengers who had purchased packages and were already in destination were accommodated in hotels, free of charge, and have been assisted by our destination representatives.
Hola Sun Holidays has been working diligently along with Cubana de Aviacion and their destination representatives, and is making every effort to minimize the impact of the flight time changes.
The last affected north bound flight, originally scheduled to depart Holguin Sunday night, is now scheduled to return later today. The last affected south bound flight, originally scheduled to depart for Havana on Sunday, is now scheduled to depart tonight. Estimated arrival and departure times can be found on the GTAA website.
Due to operational reasons, Cubana de Aviacion have cancelled the previously scheduled flights for the coming weekend, May 24-27. However, Hola Sun Holidays continues to work to resume their flight itineraries at the earliest possible date.
