Reset offers all the adventure with none of the inconvenience

The new hotel brand The Reset has begun building on a sprawling 180-acre expanse of private desert adjacent to Joshua Tree National Park. This flagship property, boasting 65 rooms, is the brainchild of co-founder Ben Uyeda, with operational oversight provided by Sightline Hospitality.

This project seamlessly blends cutting-edge steel frame modular construction, a contemporary and minimalist design ethos, and the backing of an investor consortium wielding over 40 million social media followers, thereby ushering in a distinctive brand identity.

Reset Hotel, Joshua Tree features 65 rooms, including 25 suites, each adorned with a private patio offering panoramic mountain vistas and individual fireplaces. The communal space encompasses a swimming pool ensconced within a tiered garden.

The design narrative for Reset stems from the creative vision of Ben Uyeda, an accomplished architect and designer, and co-founder. Uyeda, a resident of Joshua Tree with 2.5+ million social media followers, undertakes hands-on design experiments, such as repurposing colossal wind turbine blades into 30-foot-long dining tables and constructing entire homes from shipping containers. His endeavors, chronicled in videos garnering over 100 million views, epitomize authenticity in the creative process.

Joshua Tree, conveniently located within a two- to three-hour drive from Los Angeles, and San Diego stands out as one of the most easily accessible national parks for Canadians to access. Moreover, it is less than an hour away from Palm Springs International Airport, which has direct flights from major cities such as Vancouver and Edmonton.
