TIAC has become the newest Affiliate Member of the UNWTO (the United Nations World Tourism Organization). The UNTWO is the United Nations’ agency responsible for promoting world tourism and has a mission to achieve responsible, sustainable, and universally accessible tourism. The decision was made official recently at the 116thSession of the UNWTO Executive Council, held in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia). With its admission acceptance, TIAC is bringing Canada’s private sector tourism industry to the world stage.
