These changes were implemented so that all Air Transat passengers can continue to travel with peace of mind and the airlines' crews can serve them safely
With the evolving health situation and the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, new measures have been put in place on board to limit handling and contact. These changes were implemented so that all Air Transat passengers can continue to travel with peace of mind and the airlines' crews can serve them safely.
Here are the different measures applicable to Air Transat on-board services:
Economy Class
- On flights to/from Europe, a prepackaged meal (including a cold dish and dessert) and a snack will continue to be served
- On flights to/from the South, the United States and within Canada (longer than three hours), the Bistro menu service is unavailable. A complimentary sandwich or pizza is offered to passengers. However, the pre-order service remains available
- For all flights, the sale of snacks and drinks from the Bistro menu has been suspended
- Beverages, including cans of soft drinks, juice and bottled water are available during meal service only. Coffee and tea are currently unavailable, and the sale of bottled spirits, wine and beer has been suspended
Club Class
- A prepackaged gourmet meal will continue to be served
- Beverages are available during meal service
- The welcome cocktail service has been suspended
Option Plus
- The Comfort Kit is available only upon request
Other Services
- The distribution of on-board surprises to Kids Club members has been suspended
- On flights to the South, the sale of excursions has been suspended
- Duty-free boutique sales have been suspended; however, the pre-order service remains available
- The sale of Comfort Kits and earbuds has been suspended
