More than two dozen Canadian passengers vacationing in Cuba have been injured in a bus accident.

Transat spokesperson Bernard Côté told news outlets that 38 passengers were onboard the bus and on their way to Santa Clara Airport for a flight home to Montreal.

A car collided with the bus, causing the crash, and the driver of the car has died.

Twenty-six people have been hospitalized with injuries.
