June 18 - Canada is now on France’s green list for entry, meaning that fully vaccinated Canadians no longer need to show proof of pre-arrival PCR or antigen COVID negative test results.

 

Negative PCR or antigen test results, 72 hours before departure, are required for unvaccinated Canadians.

 

Canada made the jump from the Orange list to the Green list this week.

 

Fully vaccinated Canadians, as well as unvaccinated Canadians, do not need to quarantine upon arrival in France.

 

Atout France says that kids will be subject to the same rules as the vaccinated adults they are travelling with, whether they themselves are vaccinated or not.

 

Says Mélanie Paul-Hus, Director for Atout France in Canada: “Atout France and French destinations are delighted with this good news that will make it easier for Canadians to travel back to France this summer.

 

“With the new flight schedules announced by the airlines, and hopefully the upcoming relaxation of the quarantine on return to Canada, fans of France and its overseas regions will be able to plan their future trips at their own pace,” she adds.

 

For several months now, France has deployed a sanitary protocol that allows travellers to feel secure and offers visitors improved experiences and many new attractions.
