News / A message from the Cuba Tourist Board: Cuba remains open & ready to welcome Canadians
"The tourism industry is running normally, with sufficient fuel in place to support winter travel and beyond"

We know there's been some recent media coverage raising questions about travel to Cuba, and we want to reassure Canadian travellers that Cuba remains open, welcoming and fully operational.
The tourism industry is running normally, with sufficient fuel in place to support winter travel and beyond.
Resort areas across the island are fully functioning and operate on independent power grids with backup generators, ensuring a smooth and comfortable guest experience without disruption.
"Cuba's tourism infrastructure remains fully operational, and we continue to welcome Canadian travellers without disruption," says Lessner Gomez, Marketing Director at Cuba's Ministry of Tourism.
Cuba remains resilient, warm and ready to welcome visitors and we want to say 'thank you' to Canadians for their continued love and support.
We will continue to share regular updates right here, so be sure to follow along for the latest information and travel news.
