Its significance is internationally recognized: the city was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982 and designated a UNESCO Creative City of Music. These accolades underscore Havana's captivating essence, where its historic plazas, architectural grandeur, and musical soul captivate every visitor.

This direct air connection is set to attract a diverse mix of travelers, including business professionals, academics, students, and tourists. Beyond traditional tourism, the route will foster educational and academic exchanges, as well as participation in significant cultural, sporting, scientific, and academic events held in the capital.
