Cold Canucks from Calgary will have another option to thaw with direct December flights into Cancun. As of December 17, Flair Airlines will offer the new direct Calgary to Cancun flight.

The new direct flight is part of their winter travel season schedule into the Cancun International Airport. The airline says the new flight is in response to demand from travelers seeking warm climates.

“We know Calgarians love Cancun and we can get there more affordably than any other airline on the market. This means more money in the pockets of Calgarians while they enjoy the Mexican sun,” said Garth Lund, the Commercial Director of Flair Airlines.

This latest flight from Calgary to Cancun brings the number of routes to 10 operated by the low-cost airline.

“We have seen great demand across our network for this exciting destination. “We are sure that this offer will be popular during the cold winter months when Canadians seek to escape the ice and snow,” he said.

The new route will be offered starting December 17 and operate Calgary to Cancun and Cancun to Calgary every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.
