WestJet has reached a new milestone in connectivity, celebrating the installation of WestJet Wi-Fi presented by TELUS on its 100th aircraft.

The airline now boasts the world’s largest fleet of 737 aircraft equipped with Starlink technology, marking a major step forward in in-flight innovation and passenger experience.

WestJet Wi-Fi, presented by TELUS, is free for WestJet Rewards members. Delivered by Starlink, the rollout of high-speed and ultra-low latency Starlink connectivity began in February 2025 and has progressed faster than expected.  WestJet plans to complete installation across all Boeing 737-800 and 737-8 MAX aircraft by the end of the year.

To mark the milestone of the 100th installation, WestJet is celebrating throughout October by encouraging guests on both WestJet and Sunwing flights to share their in-flight Wi-Fi experience. Some lucky travellers may even receive surprise WestJet points or complimentary flights as part of the promotion.
