News / WestJet expands codeshare with Air France to include 31 additional European cities
WestJet passengers will gain access to 31 additional cities across Europe
In a little over a week’s time, WestJet passengers will gain access to 31 additional cities across Europe.
Starting September 25, 2023, these additional cities will be accessible from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) thanks to an expanded codeshare agreement with Air France. Previously, the agreement included just 22 destinations through CDG, all of which will be maintained as the number of onward destinations in Europe now grows to 53, which will be accessible as part of the WestJet network.
Due to high demand, WestJet has extended its seasonal service between Calgary and Paris, which will now operate year-round. The once seasonal route will continue to fly on WestJet’s 787 Dreamliner up to seven days per week during peak travel periods.
WestJet and Air France have enjoyed a successful 10-year partnership, during which the two airlines have connected millions of travellers between Canada and Europe with the convenience of one-ticket travel.
